Convention Pictures 2012
This is my "camp out area. Usually anyone with Angora Rabbits has to do any
grooming in the Angora Grooming area. It is usually a nice comfortable spot. Just like
camping out. Look deep into the picture you will see a purple tub with lid. I put towel
on lid and use a lawn chair and sit down and groom. Easy that way and don't have to
worry about grooming table getting stolen.
Here's some people camping out in the mail Convention Hall and they can because as
they don't have Angora Rabbits that leave wool on the floor and all. 64,000 people
attended the show. It was the biggest Convention in the history of ARBA. Main reason
because the Convention was so centrally located. Next Convention is in Kansas. Way
to far for us 890 mile. So we will go to Mini Convention in PA in Oct 2012. If you got
time and can get away for 5 days your welcome to ride a long.
Here's  "Jack The Music Marker" He is a show off and loves attention. He is 11.75 lbs.
And was a Daddy a couple of weeks ago to 4 cute babies. Mom and babies all doing
fine. Jack is a Giant.
Here's  "California Girl"  Jack's Mom. She another attention
seeker. Always doing funny stuff.
            Halloween Fun at the Convention!!
This is Thomas he came with us to the Convention. He shows fuzzy lops.
Look to the right that is where the cages are. They are all single row. So
easy to get bunny in and out. Person must put bunny in there and  take care of
it daily. They watch to see if it is cared for as some people get carried away
and forget to feed and water
.
The thing on my spinning wheel is a red and black scarf that I crocheted. I sold it for
$65.00 But normally shows are not a good place to sell yarn or crocheted stuff. Shows
are good for selling bunnies. At Conventions bunnies go for big dollars. We were
offered $400.00 for our Chinchilla English Doe. Then lady came back and offered
Chris $475.00 and we said no way. Chinchilla color is very rare so few around. We
took her home and now waiting on her to be Mom. At big shows or any show it is a
good Idea to put Masonite locks on your cages. Some people will take bucks and
does out and breed them to theirs. Or bunny could come up missing and that has
happened to some.
    "Jack The Music Maker"
Jack's Family . . .
Here's Jack's girl OS1 and her babies. Babies just opened their eyes
they are 10 days old.
Here's Jack's girl OS1 and baby taking a nap!! Mom is sweet
friendly loves to be brushed. But a handful-- she is 10.75 lbs.
I get about 1 pound of wool from her every 3 months.
Thanks for stopping by . . .I hope
