       BLACKBERRY PLANTS
Raspberry Garden Design: For Yellow - Black - Red Raspberry Plants

There are many options for planting Raspberry plants directly to your garden. For example, The Hill
Method and the Hedge method, planting  directly to the soil, and planting  Raspberry plants in a raised bed.

The HiLL Method: This method benefits  those that have a hill already in their gardening area. Plant Raspberry
plants 2-3  together and then leave about 3-4 feet and plant 2-3  together.  All the raspberry fruit plants will be
planted on a sloping hill.

The Hedge Method:  Just  plant in a row  and make the row 1-2 feet wide. The Raspberry plants will form a
nice hedge. Raspberry Fruit Plants can be planted directly to the soil. It would be important to till down deep
into the soil
about 12 inches. However plant  the Raspberry roots shallow and they will grow down into the soil
on their own.

Raised Beds: can be used for planting Raspberry plants  for sale too. The raised bed for planting Raspberry
plants should be 10-12 inches high and 4-6 feet wide. The raised bed
should have good water drainage.

Search  around in  your yard and figure out the best place for your Raspberry plants. No one system is any
better  to use than another. Just select the type of Raspberry garden design that fits your needs best. The
area you choose for your Raspberry Fruit plants for sale should have full sunlight be a well drained sand loam
soil high in organic matter
and low pH..

Spring Has Finally Come:
Spring has finally arrived and it is time to uncover your prepared soil. Re-till your soil. Check the pH of your
soil.  If the pH needs adjusting now is the time to do it. If you
r soil is  too acidic then you should add lime.

Now gather up these basic items: shovel, well rotted manure or compost, peat moss, organic fertilizer
4-20-20 , water, mulch (straw / newspaper). We do not recommend "soaking " our Raspberry Fruit Plants For
Sale. Our Raspberry plants come packed in moist peat moss. And no need to soak the roots. Check for a
moist root.  We recommend that you plant when you receive your Raspberry Plants for sale. If it has been
raining do not plant you
r Raspberry plants in wet soggy soil. Contact StinknRose@asparagusgardener.com  and we
can send you instructions on how to preserve your plants till the your soil has the correct moisture.

Planting Raspberry Fruit Plants For Sale:
OK, now dig a hole 1 foot deep and 1 foot wide per Raspberry fruit plant. Set plants about 3 feet a part. In the hole put a
couple hands full of manure and fertilizer
do not over do it . Find the soil mark on the main truck of the Raspberry plants
for sale
. Then plant 1/4 of an inch deeper than that soil line  and do not plant more than 3 inches deep. Fill in the hole
with soil. Pat down the soil to get the air pockets out.

After you get all the Raspberry plants for sale planted put down a couple inches of  mulch . The mulch will keep the soil
moist and help prevent t
he Raspberry Fruit plants from drying out.
Now water your Raspberry plant for sale.
Keep the Raspberry Plants for sale moist for about 1 month. By that time the
root will have made a "home" in the soil. Do not over water.

Watering Raspberry Plants:  Red Yellow and Black

Raspberries  plants red and black require a lot of water to make good fruit. At least 1 1/2 soil inches of
water a we
ak. During  the hot summer ever more water.  After you plant  the Raspberry plants do not let the
Raspberry plant dry out. Do not over-water either. . . Just moist soil while the root gets established to their
new home. The goal we are trying to reach here is just a damp soil for the Raspberry plants. A drip system is
ideal or soaker hose for 1-2 hours a
week.

Nitrogen:  When to give nitrogen and when not too. Raspberry fruit plants need nitrogen to grow. However ,
stop giving nitrogen when it is getting close to fruiting time. Nitrogen makes the  leaves grow and not fruit. The
Raspberry fruit plant
s for sale need to spend its energy making fruit not leaves. So give nitrogen early on in
the season and once
the buds form do not give any additional nitrogen to your Raspberry fruit plants for sale.

When To Prune Raspberry Fruit Plants:
Cultivating the weeds is easy and mulch should really be your best preventive for keeping the weeds our of
your Raspberry plants. Remember the roots of the Raspberry Fruit plants are " superficial" in other words
close to the surface of the soil. 3 inches is about the depth for cultivating and no deeper.  Cultivating can be
done at anytime. Pruning however is done when the Raspberry plants are dormant and have finished giving
fruit. Pruning is fast and easy and takes about 15 minutes once a season.
Raspberry branches are called "canes" The canes are biennial. The canes come from the root area. They
grow make

leaves then bloom
and then make fruit. The canes that gave you fruit and at the end of the fruiting season dye.
Prune away old canes.

Here's how to do the pruning of the Raspberry Fruit Plants For Sale. Remove the canes that have fruited
after they are done making fruit. If you can not tell which canes gave fruit take a yellow or red string and tie it
around the cane while it is in the fruiting stage. After one season you will be able to identify the canes that
need to be pruned. Cut the old cane off level at the soil line. Prune other canes to 4 feet. The canes that did
not give you fruit will give fruit the following Spring. So do not cut those level with the soil.

How To Support Your Raspberry Fruit Plants For Sale:
Before your plant Raspberry plants install a "support" for you plants. We use "T" post and run a 16 gauge
wire between them. We put one wire at 2 feet and the other at 4 feet. The wire supports the canes so that the
canes  do not snap off when heavy with fruit. The Raspberry plants for sale stand up-right but get "top-heavy"
early on in the season.

In sum, the location that you select to plant your Raspberry garden is strictly and individual choice. The soil should be
prepared for optimal growth.  And in preparing your soil and taking the time to select a good growing environment the
raspberry plants will  reward you  year after year with delicious Raspberry Fruit.

Raspberry  Fruit Plants For  Sale!!
In this photo notice how the Black Raspberry - - Red Raspberry
Fruit plants for sale are now about 3 feet long.

At this length the Raspberry Fruit plants for sale will need to be
tied to either a pole or run a "T" post and 16 gauge wire should
run between the two poles.  And lop the branches of over the
support wire or rope.

We use bamboo stick  poles for garden Raspberry Plants. They
look decorative however the bamboo poles break and do not
last long. It is not necessary to make a commercial trellis at like
in photo above.

Look deep into the picture and find the dark brown poles in the
back. Those are "T" post. They are made of steal and will last
for ever. That is what we use on our farm.
This photo shows a Black - Red -  Raspberry
plant for sale with a broken cane (branch). This
can be avoided by running a wire or rope
between two poles. The first season you can get
away with using nothing. But the second Spring
after planting you will have a lot of fruit and will
want the support for your Raspberry Fruit Plants.

The canes of the fruit plants for sale are now
about 4 feet long.
When the canes reach about 3 - 4 feet long
they will bend  downward. If the Raspberry plant
canes  are not supported they will crack and
break off.

Once the raspberry fruit plant canes crack sip
them Off now only the bottom half of that broken
cane will give you fruit

How To Grow  Raspberry Plants For Sale:
Why Grown Raspberry Fruit Plants For Sale?
Now let's take a look at some basic factor about planting   Black and Red Raspberry plants for sale.

When To Plant Raspberry Plant?
Raspberry plants should be planted in the early Spring. If possible prepare your Raspberry garden the
previous Fall. Find the location in your garden for you Raspberry Plants For sale that fits the description below.
And then prepare the soil.

Soil Requirements:
Raspberry plants (Red and Black) like sandy  loam soil that  has rotted compost, peat moss and garden lime
with a pH  of 5.6 - 6.4 . So gather up some well rotted manure or compost, peat moss, organic fertilizer
4 - 20 -20 . Mix all of the above together. Then  water  the area well and cover it  with a plastic tarp or
newspaper and weight  it down with rocks. Covering  the area  will keep the Fall weed seed out of your
Raspberry  gardening area. Full sun or split sun if the Raspberry Plants for sale could get some afternoon
shade would be delightful.
Understanding What You Will Receive In Your Raspberry Plants For Sale Oder:
Preparing Your Soil For Raspberry Plants:
Photo C:
Take a look at the photo above specifically (C) and (B). (C) is what you will receive if you are
planting in March. Planting in March would be for the warm states: CA, AZ, South TX , GA,  LA, MS,
SC,  or any states where the temperature is above 50 degrees.

The Mother branch and the root system is important not the leaves. The root system is  like a rag
mop and well developedquiuckly. Shortly after planting -- in about 2 weeks -- or so the Raspberry
Plant for sale will develop leaves and the root system will quickly underground. On you are on your
way.
Photo B:
You will receive B if you are having your Raspberry Plants For Sale Shipped in April. Either way the
Raspberry Plant For Sale will grow quickly.

Photo A:
This is a fully grow Raspberry Plant and we do not ship those,. Too expensive to ship. And why ship
some thing that big when in a few short months your Raspberry Plants For Sale will be that size too.
Also both will yield 3 crops for harvesting the season planted. First  the plant will develop extensive
root system -- followed-- by leaves -- the it will bloom white flowers -- followed by berries that can be
harvested about 2nd week of June and then again 2nd week of July and a small crop 2nd week
August.
How To Plant  Raspberry Plants For Sale:
Planting raspberry Plants should take no more than 15 minutes. Open up the box and take the
Raspberry Plants For Sale out. Give them a small drink of water that has been at room temperature. Let
them sit in a partially sunny but shaded area for a few hours. Then go a head and plant the raspberry
plants for sale in your garden.

Here's the
important part. Look at Photo B and C again. Plant the Raspberry Plant for sale no deeper
than where the red diamond            is on the photo. Think of a "mop stick". Plant the "mop" and a 1/4
inch of the "Mother Branch"  -- the stick -- that is all.  Now plant the next Raspberry Plant.

The end result is plant shallow. The root likes to go down into the soil on its own. If planted deep it
smoother and die -- remember to plant shallow.
The Second Important Factor Is Water You Raspberry Plants For Sale:
Since the Raspberry Plant For Sale root is planted shallow -- meaning close to
the surface -- of the soil. The Raspberry Plant  will dry out quickly. Keep the soil
moist not soggy wet just moist. Just stick you finger in the soil if the soil is moist
then don't water. The idea here is not to let the soil dry out. So make your self a
note to check soil for moisture everyday. Post the your Raspberry Plant note some
where you will see it everyday. After one month then water Raspberry Plants for
Sale just like you would any other garden plant. And of course alway water at the
root level.

The Third : Important Feed Your Raspberry Plants For Sake -- Raspberry Garden Tea
Don't forget to feed your Raspberry Plants For Sale. We feed our Raspberry plants
Raspberry Garden Tea. It is made here at your Farm. The Raspberry Tea is all
organic and can be used in place of watering and as often as you like since it is all
organic and will not build up in the soil.
The Raspberry Tea comes in zip lock bag.  Weight ----------  Fast and easy to
prepare. Put 3-4 tables spoons in gallon of water. Put the gallon in the sun for 3
hours. Then apply at root level to the Raspberry Plants for sale. Use as often as you
like.
Here's How the Raspberry Tea works. Compost is needed in the soil. However it takes a while for the compost
to break down. Therefore your Raspberry Plants For Sale may not eat for a while and this may retard growth.
The Raspberry root is fibrous and will absorb the Raspberry Tea now. Therefore the Raspberry Plant for sale
gets planted and fed and now ready to grow and make that first Raspberry harvest happen.
How does a Raspberry Plants For Sale Eat?
Keep in-mind the photos of (B) and (C) above.

1. The raspberry root absorb the Tea through the fiberous root.
2. Then the Tea ravels up the Sieve Tube.
3. The from the Sieve Tube the Tea goes to the veins of the

leaves. If there is no leaves then the Tea stimulates the Mother

 Branch to make leaves.
4. And then the  Tea travels down the trunk
"Me too. May we have some Tea, please."
